The screen box is the core component of the sieving process, typically composed of a screen mesh, screen frame, and liner, responsible for screening, removing impurities, and grading materials.
The drive unit is the key component that enables the screen box to oscillate. Power generated by a motor or vibratory motor causes the screen box to perform a three-dimensional oscillating motion.
The shock-absorbing springs, installed at the bottom of the screen box, are either rotary springs or rubber springs, which both dampen vibrations and ensure sufficient oscillation amplitude for effective sieving.
The inlet and outlet, including the feed hopper, distributor, and outlet, are responsible for evenly distributing the material to be screened onto the screen surface and discharging both screened and unscreened material.
The base and support ensure the overall stability of the screen box.
The working principle of the 2900 circular gyratory screen:
Material first enters the screen surface evenly through the feed inlet. Under the gyratory motion of the screen box, it spreads in a spiral pattern, avoiding accumulation and ensuring screening efficiency. Subsequently, the motor drives the eccentric block to generate a three-dimensional gyratory motion, causing the material to continuously tumble and disperse on the screen. Fine particles pass through the screen and fall to the lower layer, while coarse particles are discharged from the outlet of that layer. Finally, after being classified by multiple layers of screens, materials of different particle sizes are discharged from their respective outlets, thus achieving the screening, impurity removal, and classification process.
